Appearance/signing at local Comic Show

Sunday, October 25th, I will have a table set up at the Vancouver Comic + Toy show at the Croation Cultural Centre, 3250 Commercial Drive, Vancouver, B.C. .  The show runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., admission $5.

I will have a large assortment of products, including small Halloween themed prints, children's books, art show catalogues, and hopefully (if the package arrives in time), advance copies of my Mean Girls Comic (Nobrow Press).  Pictured below are some of the items that will be available.

I will also have a small selection of original art sketches and paintings, exclusive to the show (at this time).

"mean girls club" COMIC NOW AVAILABLE

The "MEAN GIRLS CLUB" comic, original released in the Summer of 2014 as a limited edition risograph comiczine, is now officially available in Europe as an expanded edition published by Nobrow (UK).  This version is part of their 17 X 23 series.

The story has been expanded by eight pages, and is lavishly printed to include new endpapers.  The price is also considerably cheaper than the original printing, with the quality and sharpness vastly improved from the risograph edition.

BLAB! 10th Group Show

This Saturday, September the 12th, marks the tenth annual BLAB! group show at Copro Gallery, Santa Monica, CA.  I am extremely proud to again be a part of this show, curated by award winning art director Monte Beauchamp.  As usual, a great roster of artists have been assembled.

The opening reception takes place from 8 to 11 p.m., and many artists as well as Mr. Beauchamp will be present.

"Romance of Canada" solo show

I am pleased to announce that my new solo show, "Romance of Canada", opens at the Antonio Colombo Gallery in Milan, Italy on March 26th.  The show will run until May 23rd.

After taking about a year off from personal painting, this work represents some of my most detailed and involved pieces to date.  Oils, gouache and acrylics make up this reimagining of my native land, distorting cliches as well as creating new mythology.
